Boston, MA 02116Throughout its history, the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus has infused itself into the GLBT community of Boston and reached out into the political, social and arts arenas. The Chorus has distinguished itself by performing for most AIDS service organizations in the area; Human Rights Campaign events; various events during Pride Week in Boston; the Fenway Men’s Event The Chorus has created innovative collaborations with organizations including Greater Boston PFLAG, GLSEN Boston, AIDS Action Committee, and more. The BGMC also supports GLBT youth with a high school outreach program. Each year the BGMC donates more than 300 tickets to gay and lesbian student organizations and to people living with HIV. The Chorus also donates tickets and CDs to support dozens of Boston area non-profit causes. Through its history, the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus has donated an estimated $250,000 back to the community.
